Firearms Training for Children (Ages 8 and up)
Course designed to provide education to children in the basic firearm rules, range etiquette, and firearm fundamentals. Courses are scheduled for three (3) hours to increase learning and focus of your child; as well as to ensure a safe environment. For more information or to schedule a course, contact us. *We also accept ESA funds.
Beginner Firearm
Description: Course will discuss firearms safety, firearm nomenclature, law and legal (age appropriate), comparisons between Airsoft and live Firearms, ammunition, proper behavior at a gun range, and handgun fundamentals. Certificates will be provided to students who meet standards. (3 hour course)
PREREQUISITES: None. This class is designed to be the foundation for safe/proper firearms handling.
EQUIPMENT: Positive mindset, Notebook, Pen/Pencil, Eye Protection (provided, if needed).
Advanced Firearm
Description: Course will review information learned during "Beginner and Intermediate Firearm" courses. Students will complete 'Dry Fire' drills using live firearms, opportunities to shoot live firearms using information learned. Certificates will be provided to students who meet standards. (3 hour course)
PREREQUISITES: 2A Training's "Intermediate FIrearm" course. A Parent(s) must be in attendance.
EQUIPMENT: Ammunition (100 rounds), Eye and hearing Protection (can be provided, if needed)
Intermediate Firearm
Description: Course will review information discussed during the "Beginner Firearm" course. Student will learn the basics of firearm cleaning, assembly, various shooting drills to practice fundamentals, and personal coaching. Certificates will be provided to students who meet standards. (3 hour course)
PREREQUISITES: 2A Training's "Beginner Firearm" course.
EQUIPMENT: Positive mindset, Notebook, Pen/Pencil, Eye Protection (provided, if needed), Airsoft Pistol (provided, if needed)
Custom Firearm Training
Description: Contact us to discuss creating a custom training course.
PREREQUISITES: Will be discussed during consultation.

Designed for the individual with little to no handgun training or rifle training; will learn proper platform, safety guidelines, and basic marksmanship. These courses are great for the novice and will provide the opportunity to handle different firearms safely. THESE ARE NOT NRA CERTIFIED COURSES. Course times listed are approximate; actual class time may vary based on student competency. Rental firearms can be provided, contact for more info.
Handgun I
Description: Students will learn marksmanship techniques, holster draw (depending on student competency), identify common shooting mistakes, and how to correct handgun malfunctions. Students will then utilize the skills discussed on the range during live fire practice.
PREREQUISITES: None. This class is designed to be the foundation for safe/proper firearms ownership.
EQUIPMENT: Handgun, Carrying Case/Bag, Holster, Eye Protection, Hearing Protection, and 150 rounds of ammunition (minimum)

Intermediate Courses
Builds upon information and skills taught in beginner courses. These courses include focus on magazine manipulation, round management, tactical thought process, while continuing to enhance existing skills. Course times listed are approximate; actual class time may vary based on student competency. Rental firearms can be provided, contact for more info.
Handgun - II
Description: this course will build on shooting position, magazine manipulation, round management, continued enhancement on shooting skills, handgun malfunction drills, and introduce critical decision-making skills.
PREREQUISITES: Handgun I Course or waiver by instructors.
EQUIPMENT: Handgun, Carrying Case/Bag, Holster, Eye Protection, Hearing Protection, and 200 rounds of ammunition (minimum)

Private Instruction
Instruction is personalized to the individual needs of the student. One on one instruction from NRA Certified Instructors, former or current law enforcement, and/or military personnel will be provided. Rate is for hourly instruction.
