Concealed Carry Weapon course covers the minimum requirements as set by the State of Arizona for issuance. Course will discuss Arizona statutes relating to self defense and use of a weapon. Upon completion of the course, students will receive paperwork required to submit to Arizona DPS, including fingerprinting. Applicant will submit application and AzDPS processing fee of $60.00. Arizona Concealed Carry Weapon (CCW) Permit Courses

CCWs TAUGHT IN PARTNERSHIP WITH DCS LLC

Concealed Carry Weapon (permit) courses will cover the minimum requirements as set by the State of Arizona for issuance of a CCW permit. Courses will discuss Arizona statutes relating to self defense and use of a weapon. CCW - 4 hour

During this non-shooting course we will review the basic components of legally Concealed Carry Weapons, mental/situational awareness, interactions with law enforcement and how to properly plan for before and after a self-defense conflict. Necessary paperwork will be provided & your application/fingerprint cards will be completed in class. Following the completion of the course you will be able to submit your completed packet for a CCW issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

CCW - Course Add On

Take this add on class to get your Arizona Conceal Carry Weapons Permit when you have taken any of the previous handgun course. Add-on may be purchase within one (1) year of course completion date.

CCW - 8 Hour

Class will discuss how to use a handgun for defense of one’s family and self. Class topics include handgun selection, ammunition selection, self-defense laws, what to do if faced with a self-defense situation, and the associated aftermath. Class includes range time.

PREREQUISITES Handgun familiarization, prior shooting experience a benefit, but not required

EQUIPMENT: Handgun, Carrying Case/Bag, Holster, Eye Protection, Hearing Protection, and 150 rounds of ammunition (minimum)

Course goal is to teach the basic knowledge, skills and attitude necessary to carry a concealed pistol for personal protection. Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to apply for an Arizona Concealed Carry Weapons (CCW) permit through the Arizona Department of Public Safety (AzDPS); in addition, this course may meet CCW education requirements for other states - students should inquire with particular state of interest for acceptance.

Either of the NRA's Personal Protection Inside the Home or Personal Protection Outside the Home will satisfy the requirements for an Arizona CCW. *Courses are for adults who are not disqualified from possessing a firearm as defined by applicable federal, state, or local law and are of good repute and possess basic pistol skills (minimum); either through passing pre-course qualifications or completing an approved course; contact us for details on approved courses.
